Yccos "Meow" visits "Telelalahbells"

I need to debrief myself immediately. Chos!!! Haha

The 100k painting -
mas malaki pa kai
teacher kat lol

One of the PBO’s (Pinoy Bloggers Outreach) attractive (and active) member especially by means of smallness & prettiness ( LOL ) came to Cagayan de Oro City unexpectedly. All the way from Quezon City transferred to Taguig City, Metro Manila accordingly (drum roll please), 2_ (I intentionally not to put a number next to 2! Haha), 5’ FLAT? (wooottt! Alam na!) & proud to be a bekeey! Presenting Ms. Kat a.k.a “meow” slash “yccos” (I’m seryos, pilit na pilit akong maging seryos! Chos! Hahaha)

I’m very happy indeed! Yeyy!! In such short notice & time, we still manage to make our weekend a worth to remember. Nyahahahaha soreh! Soreh!

Syempre selfie - nakiuso
Our day started with sumakay kami ng “motorela” (only in cdo yan! Rooowww!!) & had a pambansang breakfast at “jabebey!” hahaha ohh yes! Of course we then visited first the Cagayan de Oro City Cathedral to pray & went to Xavier University after – hindi kami nakapasok kasi nakapekpek shorts si “kat” hahahaha akalain mo yon?! Conservative masyado kami dito eh!! Charot lang! hahaha something came up may konting emergency so pumunta kami sa lugar nila peps then went straight after to Provincial Capitol where I used to work for 7 years & may malaking sculpture kung saan masayang tingnan si kat na pilit niya itong yakapin ng buo! Haha). Our lunch was at Bucher’s Best (dito may 14 php pa na bbq).

Earthquake

I love this pic! EcoVillage!
Just as exactly 1 pm we decided to go to Capitol University Museum (kung san andon ang history ng Cdo), touristang tourista lang kami eh kasi first time ko rin pumunta don ano! (bahahaha) sa next destination namin of course not just once but ohh yes! 2nd time kong pumunta don! (feeling proud hahaha) 15 mins away from the City, sumakay kami ng jeep at “habal-habal” papuntang “ECO VILLAGE” nakuh! Lakas maka-earthquake ang lugar na ito! Masarap kasi magjumpshot dito! Haha it’s all pure nature! Sarap! Susmaryusep!! Maawa ako sa daan! Hahahaha after “Eco Village” went straight to “limketkai mall” (kapag cdo – LKK Mall ang trademark! Only in cdo lang yan talaga) & back to Imee’s “Imyang’s” dorm to get kat’s bag & stayed Jollibee nearby for a while at pumunta na kami straight sa 2nd home ko para don magstay overnight – sa bahay nila peps. Hahaha
Boystown Outreach

Saturday night we prepared the hygiene kits for the outreach kinabukasan. Thanks to PEPS sa lahat dahil he allowed us to be part of his Org for a day! (I can’t thank u enough really, wwooott!) the following day pumunta kami sa “Boystown” ng Cdo located away from the city, mga 1 hour din yong binyahe namin with all the rough road along & free natural powder! Oh diba bongga! Hahaha I am very happy dahil may malaking part si Kat during our outreach dahil we let her interact with the kids as well as nagconduct din siya ng activity sa mga bata. Fulfilling! kaso bitin lang! Right after our outreach, dahil maaga natapos I called a friend who is just nearby para kumain ng French fries at beefsteak! Hahaha she’s a friend for almost 15 years din kaya at home na rin ako sa bahay nila! Chos! Effortless!

After Outreach -
Yccos with the Big Four
Exactly 12 noon kami umalis sa bahay ng friend ko and dumating kami downtown mga 1 na siguro yon, kumain ng sundae all from Mcdonalds dahil SUNdaey! Haha just waited for Pep’s sister for a while naiwan yong tablet ni kat sa bahay nila Peps. Hahaha charowt! Hinatid namin si Kat sa LKK Mall kung saan don siya sasakay ng Van going to the airport, that’s around 2:30 na siguro, had few group pictures and ayon na ba-bye na talaga! Haaaiiizzz! Lol There’s no goodbye but see you again soon!! That is!!! Yeey!!

GRACE - Our fries & beef steak
For a day & a half na kasama ko si Teacher Kat “yccos” ito lang masabi ko – may katapat ako!!!! Hahaha she’s bubbly & a positive thinker! What I admired the most yong pagiging flexible niya (knowing I also have my friends with me during her visit) AT ito pa – ang talino ha in fairness hindi ko carry yong history ng pinas, wala nga akong matanong don eh! Hahaha) I hate being so big sa mga pictures namin kasi ang liit niya!! Literal! Hahahahaha the best I could describe KAT - “NO PRETENTIONS!!!” what you see, what you’ve read is what you get!!! Yes!! It is!!

MecMec - Pep's Home
It was a worth weekend!!! Thank you teacher kat for the visit & next time ulet!! Wooott!!! I can’t thank enough also to Pep’s Family – Tita slash Mama Merelyn & ang pangarap kong katawan sa hilaw kong kapatid na si MecMec, na always ready and on the GO!!! Of course si Juan in English it’s JOHN – official icebreaker!!! Imee slash Imyang as well as our official photographer all throughout!!! Hahaha I LOVE YOU Guys!! (wid feelings, CAPSLOCK para intense!! Hahaha)

Court trial experience

I just don’t know how to start and end this. Just read at your own risk. Rooootttss!! Hahaha I feel so stressed, really. I mean just for today. I don’t understand what I feel when I entered the hall of justice of Malaybalay Bukidnon. One of our clients went on trial today and OMG! As in OMG!

Well para akong tanga when I entered the court room, huling huli kasi akong pumasok kaya wala akong maupoan sa likod so I have no choice but doon ako sa gitna and yong nasa gilid ko (right side) mga almost 10 detainees. So like okay, they are still human kahit they committed murder, sell drugs at yong rape na case. Hindi ko kilala yong perpetrator ng client, hindi ko rin namukhaan kasi it’s our first time to attend her court hearing kasi trial na nga.

Nong tinawag na sya, pinapapasok yong client namin and mas doon ang kaba ko dahil when she entered the court room together with my co-interns, shets lang yong dalawang tao na nasa right ko as in the nearest two, yong isa don was the perpetrator. Paking tape diba! And like they were talking “ohh! (name inserted) and the other said that “siya si ____” oh the hell silang dalawa diba dahil same sila ng kaso kaya pinaguusapan nila ang mga kagaguhan nila futangs ina nila! Lol I am not mad really. Not really! Hahahaha

So now nong tinawag na ang name nong perpetrator syempre, dumaan yong perpetrator sa likod namin, so like the feeling was paking tape parang yong mga intestine at liver ko eh napunta na sa heart ko sa sobrang kaba ko for I don’t know the reason. Hahaha and nong natapos ng pumunta ang perpetrator sa harap, ulit bumalik sya at dumaan sa likod and guess what diba he tried to talk to our client like “ate, ate…” (yon tawag niya kasi eldest kasi yong client pero stepdaughter lang naman niya yong client namin) so now yong dalawa kong kasamang interns niyakap yong client namin and hindi pinatingin at I don’t know nagfefeeling bouncer lang ako naman hahaha hinarang ko sya and told him “NO” with the kamay action harang. Roooottts!

(hahahaha pakyu!) then our center social worker sabi “they are social work interns” then she replied like “AWWW… because NAKAKA-INTIMIDATE KAYO!” (at saan banda?! Roootts) sabi nong kasama kong intern, baka kasi dahil sa nangyari sa loob ng court room na hinarang namin yong perpetrator hahaha futeks kasi kami lang nasa loob that time dahil yong social worker mismo kasi wanted us to learn and experience kung ano ang meron talaga sa loob.

All in all, they wanted to lower the sentence yon ang hiling nila, in fact nilapitan pa kami nong nanay ng perpetrator and again dahil epal ako, after a few minutes na pakiusap sa client namin inakbayan ko si nanay at told her na “ok na nay, you’ve heard the minor’s decision” (our client decided not to lower the sentence and she will continue the trial kasi andun na sya, madami na rin daw nangyari so ipagpapatuloy na niya, walang atrasan) pinaalis ko si nanay kasi ayoko na dagdagan yong hirap ng client namin, hindi madali yong pinagdadaanan niya talaga and I feel that. sobrang kaba ko na nga how much more sya, na sya yong magsasabi sa harap ng judge kung ano talaga ang nangyari.
Almost na sana yon na hindi nalang magttrrial kasi pumayag na kami sa offer ng kabila na 10 years to 17 years and 6 months to 6 years na sentence kasi dalawa yong case na-file against the perpetrator.

Pero I think the judge mismo hindi pumayag so wala kaming nagawa but to present our client sa court, as in siya na magsalita sa harap ng kanyang perpetrator. Yong mother niya hindi pumanig sa kanya even the relatives.

It took almost an hour na question and answer and ramdam namin talaga ang hirap ng bata at kahit yong mga pangyayari parang nauulit na naman pero like i told her again na “this is your turning point, and after this, everything will be in placed” kasi we all know talaga we have our own turning points, trials in life and because of that mas naging matatag tayo at handa harapin ano man ang darating.

SO.. everything happens for a reason. I thanked God for all the strength he gave us today, it is indeed a long day pero kahit papano na-relieve kami. And what we are facing this week is our end of practicum sa center. We will be assigned sa community na this 2nd semester. So again, goodluck to bags of luha. Hehehe

Pablo Pablito Pabling

I traveled 4 municipalities yesterday and that took me a day. itong si Pablo gave reasons to people to panic. Lels!! I congratulate all the disaster team for the preparedness because in our city and province walang casualties like we had with sendong. Now they are doing better than before, now people learned their lessons too.

It was a hell fun when I got the chance to travel in our municipalities. Yesterday was different in all the travels I had in the past. My officemate said I was like hitting two birds in one stone because I brought with me my closest friends from school to conduct an interview to solo parents in the municipalities. While I was doing my job delivering the relief goods, I accompany them to visit the local social welfare office to interview a focal person on solo parents. I did my job as an employee; I also did my homework as a student. Hahaha simpleng diskarte lang yan!! I have to do it wala akong choice I have been very busy with this Pablo. Naku! Hahaha

I just couldn’t take this out of my head when my boss called me that morning. Like he said – ok ibigay mo kay mayor yan and “magpakodak!” ka ha, (take picture with the mayor) hahaha i tried not to laugh while talking to my boss hahaha he could have said it like “magpapicture ka ha” tan-enay!! Hahaha my boss can’t still get out of his head that “Kodak” hahaha he is not old though.

While on our way, nakakatakot because we were in the military truck and going to the municipality where doon daw sila nagkaroon ng ambush! When the driver told me that, don’t you think hindi ka maparanoid? Hahaha and he even added that “military truck at may sakay na army, mainit sa mga mata ng mga npa yan!” nah!!! In my thoughts. I wonder what would be my face when that will happen, or what will I do in case may npa nga, at saan ako pupunta. Hahaha it’s really fun thinking about it!! Hahaha

No school today. Yes!!! Feast of Immaculate Conception! Oh yeah!! Now I love My RVM School. Hahaha
