ang alam ko at sigurado akong hindi ito kasama sa napoles trend na yan dahil never sila lumapit sa mga politician dahil isa lang ang alam ko, they're afraid na lalagyan ng tao ng politician ang mission nila at isa pa eh walang halong politika ang kanilang mission sa pagtulong sa mga batang namulat sa katotohanan sa buhay.

 Hello ate and kuya

As you may know we are on our first semester as Social Work Interns. Since June, we have been given an opportunity to share our time and effort in helping the girls at the Nehemiah House. Some of you may not be aware of neither the center's existence nor its function, let me go ahead and tell you a bit about it...

The Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Nehemiah House Inc. is a 24 hour residential care facility registered, licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), which caters to females, aged 8-17 years old, who are victims of sexual abuse, maltreatment, abandonment and child trafficking. It has been operating for over 13 years and has changed the lives of hundred of girls in crisis.

 The girls are kept in the center for safekeeping and interventions like education, counseling and assistance on legal matters; as well as social and spiritual development. Yes, they are away from their families but this is only a temporary situation - only until justice has been served or a safer environment for the child has been established.

This OCTOBER 11, 2013 we are conducting a Family Day for these girls. This is a once a year activity aimed to reconnect and bond the girls with their family. Some of these kids have not seen their loved ones in years.

Emotional and moral support from their families are usually done through telephone conversations or through letters. This time, we are opening a moment to let these kids feel the love through hugs and kisses, or even just a smile or reassurance from their family members.

A fund raising program is also initiated for a construction of a study area for the girls as they journey through their academic dreams. Help us mend the lives of these girls. Each one has a story to tell- all have wounds needed to be healed. Let us do what we can to make their lives brighter.

Be one of the chosen few who are willing to make this activity a success and create a life changing event for these kids. You can participate by helping out through cash or in kind. Feel free to ask me questions and I'd be more than happy to answer them for you. All we are asking is for you to pay it forward.

Finally, im happy kasi nakakapagupdate na ako ng blog ko! hahaha

Just busy with school, had our finals, may research pang pamatay! Ngayon 1 week break ang utak ko sa mga dapat kong isipin at harapin.

Malapit na matapos ang March, ibig sabihin malapit na rin akong mag-announce sa Ms. Daldalera & Mr. Daldalero for the 1^st quarter. Like I said, may reward or prize akong ibibigay kung sino ang mananalo. Nag-iisip pa ako ng magandang prize. Hihihi ang mananalo base sa number of comments na dinaldal niya sa old blog ko (click this) at dagdag ang comments niya dito sa telelalabells. So magbibilang ako? Ganyan?!

Madami pa naman akong ikukwento pero saka na, ito muna ang update sa ngayon. Hindi gumagana ang utak ko, baka kailangan ko lang ng ice cream para umandar ito. Kagabi pa ako crave ng crave ng ice cream dahil sa sobrang init na yan na walang patawad.

Dahil holy week hindi rin ako makapagpromise na hindi ako makakapagtelelelelalala-INGAY sa blog at sa twitter, dahil vacay na vacay lang I have all the time to shout out my rants chars!! Pasensya ahead if mapupuno ko ang inyong timeline hihihi pero who knows hindi ko pala magawa yon dahil magmomovie marathon ako sa home theatre. Its time to sit sa living room dahil halos ilang buwan na rin akong ndi nakahiga at nakapagpahinga sa living room. So this is the time, this is the moment! Haha

Sasabihin ko sanang HAPPY holy week, hindi pala appropriate yon lol

Papaya you!

Gaano kato-too na ang papaya ay nakakawala ng libog? Kaya ba ang mga madre at pari sa kanilang bakuran ay maraming tanim na papaya? Para maiwasan ang libog at temptasyon? Lol ang panget ng intro ko, hahaha naisip ko lang itanong yan kasi bumili ako ng papaya kanina pauwi, timing kasi  na ang main road ng city, trapik dahil may prosesyon ng nazareno, kaya dumaan ako sa isang daan kung saan papuntang palengke at nagagandahan ako sa mga papaya, kaya bumili ako! Inggitera lang!

Kaya ito na kinakain ko na habang latag ang aking gagawin para sa documentation and photo docu sa upcoming event na leadership training seminar ng mga leaders sa iba’t ibang school ng buong Mindanao that offers the course social work.

Ang dami ko pang gagawin, kanina pa ako kating kati na magblog hop pero hindi ko magawa ng bongga kasi tambak ang mga requirements. (pero sadyang hindi ko mapigilan, il give myself hour to do that lel) Sabagay parang mas madaling paandarin ang utak ko kapag malapit na ang deadline pero ayoko ng ganon sa totoo lang kasi hindi ko makikita ano man ang mali doon, pero dahil nagpakasawa ako sa bakasyon, ito ang napapala ko, cramming! Pero nakagawa pa ako ng blogpost! Hahaha

Balik sa papaya, kung totoo ngang nakakawala ng gana yon, abah hindi ako affected dyan ngayon! Hahaha keber lang! sabagay ang daldal ko at ang tapang ko sa mga kabulastogan na usapan pero parang minsan ang hirap gawin in reality! Lol saka ko nalang ikwento ang papaya na yan kapag maprove ko na nakakawalang gana nga yan! Hihihi

P.S.

Namatay ako sa inggit sa mga pictures ng PBOers sa kanilang outreach program at may utang pa akong pastel, hindi pa ako nakapagpadala dahil na rin sa sched ko na bawat minuto ay nangangalabit sakin! Isang araw this week or next week sana ako naman ang magkaron ng chance to knock out my sched to live a little.

Basta nandito lang ako, kapag may time nakakabasa naman ako ng inyong blog hindi lang nakakapagcomment ng kasing haba ng isang post. Lol
